Case study writing
Wrap – business to business case studies and consumer copywriting
ProseWorks’ words and copy are rarely wasted, and never recycled.
Strange, then, that we’ve frequently been appointed by Wrap, the recycling and waste reduction body to pen a wide range of consumer and business focused marketing material.
Over the last eight years we have written around 150 business focused case studies, showcasing good environmental practice across all industrial and retail sectors.
For these 400-word case studies we had to turn technical information into ‘bite size’ message-led two-siders which followed defined templates. Writing headlines, standfirsts, key points and introductions, as well as body copy, were needed, all to predefined word counts.
For around 40 extended case studies we interviewed external organisations and used direct quotes and testimony to convey the benefits of embracing environmental change.
All copy required sign-off and approval from both Wrap and the case studied organisation. We were happy to oblige.
For Wrap’s consumer-facing Recycle Now brand, we were commissioned to write press releases, web copy, Facebook and Twitter feeds for local authorities to promote and use with their local media. The themes were topical (for instance, Christmas, Halloween, the World Cup) and were prepared in advance. Local authorities only had to change key local information before using them with the local media, on their websites and on their social media feeds.
