Case study writing

Centre for Ageing Better – case study writing
How do you generate knock-out case studies to complement a campaign launch?
You turn to ProseWorks of course.
The Centre for Ageing Better wanted case studies to illustrate older people’s urgent need for repairs and adaptions to make their homes accessible.
Our team worked quickly. Employing both sensitivity and tact, we interviewed elderly people in their 80s and 90s to draw out their life stories, their experiences and their need for housing repairs to keep them in their own homes.
Most of the body copy was written in the first person to give it the intimacy and directness it deserved. We also prepared pithy and concise headlines and standfirsts.
The case studies were between 300 and 500 words long and followed house style guides.
Time was tight. We were able to clinch our interviews and write up the case studies within three days, ready for the Centre’s campaign work.
